NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Hornets say there is no structural damage in guard Austin Rivers' ankle.

Rivers injured the ankle in the second quarter of Monday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Team officials say x-rays were taken in Dallas and showed up negative.

Rivers is day-to-day with a right ankle sprain and should be ready for the Hornets Halloween night opener.
