NEW ORLEANS - Say goodbye to the Hornets - while New Orleans will still have a NBA team, it's getting a new identity.

The Bees will take their final bow at the Hive this weekend. They play the Los Angeles Clippers at 7 p.m. Friday and the Dallas Mavericks at 5 p.m. Sunday.

The organization plans on giving away Hornets memorabilia to fans as a thank you.

The team will become the Pelicans when the season ends at an away game on Wednesday.

Pelican merchandise is already for sale in the Hive Store.

Anthony Davis will miss the three final games due to an an injury he suffered on April 10.
