Former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove implicated fellow former Saints lineman Remi Ayodele in an ESPN interview as the man who shouted to be paid for taking then-Vikings quarterback Brett Favre out of the 2010 NFC championship game.
Hours later, Ayodele took to Twitter, responding that it appeared to him that Hargrove was in need of money and that's why he did the interview. Hargrove originally was suspended for eight games in 2012 for what the NFL deemed was a role in a program the league said the Saints ran for three years.

In the ESPN interview, Hargrove
wonders about his future in the NFL , believing he may have played his final down in the league. But Hargrove also said that Ayodele was the player heard in the clip the NFL used as its basis for punishing him.
Ayodele was a role player on the Super Bowl-winning team and was part of the play that injured Favre.
All I remember from that year was playing for a great defensive coordinator, play hard hard football, winning NFC Championship,Remi Ayodele
