METAIRIE, La. — Receiver Marques Colston returned to practice Monday, his first time going through drills Aug. 8, the day before the Saints’ preseason opener against Kansas City.

He was joined on the field by linebacker Curtis Lofton, receiver Courtney Roby and center Eric Olsen, all of whom missed practices last week.

All four were dressed, though the amount of time they practiced wasn't disclosed by coach Sean Payton.

Only four players sat out, including linebackers Junior Galette (left knee), Jonathan Vilma (left knee) and Chris Chamberlain (undisclosed).

Receiver Joseph Morgan (left knee) hasn’t practiced since partially tearing the meniscus and tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the Aug. 3 Black & Gold scrimmage.
