Former Saints special teams whiz Steve Gleason, who is battling the debilitating disease ALS, was highly critical of former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and said he was surprised that no one was apparently shocked at Williams' comments about injuring players before last year's playoff game in San Francisco.

According to a story on ESPN.com, Gleason makes those comments on HBO's Real Sports show that airs this Tuesday.

Those comments by Williams were captured and made public by a documentary filmmaker who was working on a project on Gleason.
