METAIRIE, La. ― Offensive lineman Zach Strief can be eligible with the Saints once more.
The 6-foot-7, 320-pounder has agreed to terms with New Orleans, the team confirmed Monday afternoon.
Strief was taken in the seventh round of the 2006 draft and has been with the Saints ever since. He has played 62 games during the past four seasons and is best known for the Superdome announcement, “No. 64 is eligible.”
He’s consistently brought in as an extra blocking lineman to help protect quarterback Drew Brees.
Strief announced his re-signing via Twitter, saying only, "Who Dat."
