METAIRIE, La. ― Saints middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma was limited in practice again Tuesday as the team continued preparations for Thursday’s 7:30 p.m. NFL curtain raiser against the Vikings in the Superdome.

Vilma injured his groin in the second quarter of New Orleans’ third preseason game against San Diego. He missed New Orleans’ final preseason game against Tennessee and has been rehabbing since.

Cornerback Tracy Porter also was limited, resting a left knee that he injured against the Texans on Aug. 21.

There’s no concern with Porter’s progression from the injury. He has missed several practices since it happened and didn’t play against San Diego or Tennessee.

“Not at all,” Head Coach Sean Payton said. “I was encouraged today (Monday), in fact. Not concerned with him.”

Receiver Marques Colston (kidney), safety Pierson Prioleau (left knee) and tight end Jimmy Graham (right ankle) all participated fully, according to the report.

Tackle Zach Strief (right knee); running back Chris Ivory (left knee); linebacker Stanley Arnoux (right ankle) and def. lineman Anthony Hargrove did not participate. Strief had limited participation Monday, before sitting out Tuesday's workout.

For Minnesota, quarterback Brett Favre (ankle) was full; running back Toby Gerhart (knee), cornerback Cedric Griffin (knee), safety Jamarca Sanford (ankle) and center John Sullivan (calf) were limited; and cornerback Chris Cook (knee) and defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy (knee) did not participate.
