METAIRIE, La. ― Running back Chris Ivory was limited for the third straight practice and was listed as questionable ahead of Monday night’s showdown at Atlanta.
Tight end David Thomas (knee) did not participate and nose guard Remi Ayodele (ankle) was limited Saturday; the rest of the team was full.
The Saints (10-4) go into the game against Atlanta (12-2) with Reggie Bush, Pierre Thomas and Julius Jones as the team’s healthy running backs, much like it did a week ago against Baltimore.
Ivory injured his hamstring in the first quarter of New Orleans’ Dec. 12 win over St. Louis. He sat out the rest of that game and hasn’t been full at practice since. He received an injection the week of the Ravens game, but it wasn’t enough to get him back on the field.
As for Atlanta, defensive end John Abraham (groin), defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (shoulder), linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee), running back Ovie Mughelli (shoulder) and receivers Eric Weems (knee) and Roddy White (knee) are all listed as questionable. All were full in practice the past two days.
