Saints name RB Chris Ivory inactive, DE Junior Galette active for Giants game

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Saints will go without Chris Ivory against the Giants as the running back was deemed inactive after being a late addition to the injury report with a hamstring injury.

Meanwhile, defensive end Turk McBride will be inactive after playing in the past four games, putting up four tackles. That means defensive end Junior Galette is active for the first time in five games after suffering a high left ankle sprain on Nov. 5.

Linebacker Scott Shanle is inactive for the fifth consecutive game and sixth time in the past seven games.

Cornerback Corey White (left knee), tackle  Charles Brown (right knee), defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker and tight end Michael Higgins also are inactive.

For New York,  safeties Kenny Phillips and Tyler Sash, defensive tackle  Adewale Ojomo, running back Ryan Torain, tight ends Travis Beckum and Adrien Robinson and defensive Marvin Austin are inactive.
