NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans Saints linebacker Chris Chamberlain left the game with 8:40 to play in the second quarter after getting rolled up on.
He was joined on the sideline late in the second half by receiver Andy Tanner, who rolled up on while blocking for Chris Ivory on a screen pass.
The first-year Saints defensive player was on the ground for several minutes before trainers helped him off the field. Chamberlain was favoring his left leg and, once on the sideline, trainers were checking out his left knee.
As of halftime, there was no word about Chamberlain’s status.
