METAIRIE, La. – New Orleans Saints cornerback Patrick Robinson missed his first full practice on Tuesday after injuring a shoulder midway through practice two days earlier.
He was joined on the sideline by cornerback Jabari Greer, who left practice near the beginning with a groin injury. Acting head coach Joe Vitt said Greer would be evaluated after practice.
Meanwhile, tight end David Thomas returned for the first time since Thursday, the first full day of training camp. Thomas was out for three days with a lower back strain and said he felt good being back at practice.
“It was kind of frustrating to not be out there the last few days, but it feels a lot better,” Thomas said.
Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks began conditioning and is expected to have one more day of non-padded work before suiting up in full pads later this week. He missed the first several days while his hand finished healing from a broken bone suffered during OTAs.
Defensive tackle Swanson Miller didn’t practice and watched as he rested his left lower leg, which was in a boot. Vitt gave no indication what was wrong with Miller.
