NEW ORLEANS - Saints Head Coach Sean Payton will not meet with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Tuesday, according to an overnight tweet from Adam Schefter, an ESPN NFL insider.

Payton and General Manger Mickey Loomis were set to discuss the appeal of their suspensions.

Payton is also looking for clarification on how much communication he can have with his staff.

The meeting is expected to come later this week, but there's no word yet on when that will be.
