METAIRIE, La. ― Tracy Porter returned from a one-practice absence after the starting right cornerback rested a “sore” left knee.
Porter, who played in Saturday night’s preseason game against Houston and practiced Monday, participated in individual drills during the early periods of practice Wednesday.
He sat out Tuesday, however, with “soreness” in his knee and said that he wouldn’t say whether he was going to be able to play Friday night against San Diego or not.
Four players who have missed the bulk of training camp, however, remained out.
Tight end Jimmy Graham (right ankle) and linebacker Stanley Arnoux (right ankle) missed their 11th practice and 12th consecutive day after suffering ankle sprains in New Orleans’ preseason opener at New England on Aug. 12.
Also sitting out were linebacker Clint Ingram (left knee) and free safety Darren Sharper (left knee), both continuing their stay on the PUP list.
