METAIRIE, La. — Nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley was one of three Saints players listed as not practicing Wednesday as New Orleans prepares for a second-consecutive NFC South opponent in Tampa Bay.
Safety Isa Abdul-Quddus (ankle) and defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee) also missed practice. Earlier Wednesday, NFL.com reported that Bunkley is expected to miss several weeks with a calf issue, an injury that happened in the first six minutes of Sunday’s win over Atlanta.
Four players, meanwhile, were listed as limited – linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee), defensive end Glenn Foster (ankle), cornerback Jabari Greer (back) and cornerback Patrick Robinson (foot).
Linebacker Martez Wilson (elbow), receiver Marques Colston (foot), linebacker Junior Galette (hamstring), tackle Zach Strief (neck) and guard Jahri Evans (back) all were full.
For Tampa Bay, cornerback Michael Adams (knee) and tight end Tom Crabtree (ankle) didn’t practice while cornerback Rashaan Melvin (hamstring) and guard Carl Nicks (foot) were limited. Running back Erik Long (calf) was full.
