METAIRIE, La. — Defensive end Kenyon Coleman returned to practice Saturday after missing the Saints’ initial training camp session a day earlier with the flu.

That left receiver Jarred Fayson (dehydration) as the only active roster player out and Coach Sean Payton said he should return by Sunday’s practice.

The three players on the physically unable to perform list – receiver Marques Colston (foot), outside linebacker Victor Butler (left knee) and cornerback Patrick Robinson (right knee) – all remained out.

Receiver Saalim Hakim walked off the field gingerly at the end while his teammates were doing sprints, but Payton said the player felt tightness in a muscle and stopped before pulling it.

"He didn’t pull anything," Payton said. "He was cramping and stopped wisely. He’s fine."

Safety Roman Harper was limited after having offseason sports hernia surgery.
