The Saints have agreed to a terms with Junior Galette on a contract that will keep him in New Orleans for three years.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Galette, a role-playing defensive end for the past three seasons, will move to outside linebacker in the Saints' new 3-4 defensive alignment. The move will help him take advantage of his athletic ability and speed off the edge.

In 2012, Galette played in 16 games and finished with 22 tackles, including five sacks, third-most on the team.

He originally made the team in 2010 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Stillman College.
