NEW ORLEANS -- It's widely thought professional football players want to be musicians, actors and of course basketball players, especially if it’s for a good cause.

Lance Moore, Cameron Jordan, Malcom Jenkins and other teammates took part in the second annual Black and Gold Hoops Challenge.

They faced off against local police, firefighters and military members on the hardwood.

The night was about Moore's Community Cares Program "We stand as one! For a safer New Orleans!”

It was a great opportunity for Saints players to greet fans and pass the time with the excitement of training camp right around the corner.
