Evans signed the largest guard contract in the NFL this summer and then was voted into his second straight Pro Bowl. He’s largely considered one of the top guards in the league and has settled into a quiet leadership role inside the locker room.
He gives up few sacks and few free paths into the Saints backfield and teams with center Jonathan Goodwin oftentimes to open up holes in the middle for the running game to attempt to flourish.
But he’s also one fans might question. He led the team in penalties with 12, including nine holding calls, and had a team-high four penalties that stalled drives.
