METAIRIE, La. ― Starting right cornerback Tracy Porter sat out Tuesday’s practice with “soreness in his knee” after going through Monday’s session.

Porter wouldn’t commit to saying he would or wouldn’t play Friday night against San Diego in the preseason. But Porter did say it was the same knee he injured in 2009 forcing him to miss several games.

Additionally, tight end Jimmy Graham and linebacker Stanley Arnoux continue to sit out practice as both rehabilitate from high ankle sprains suffered in the Aug. 12 preseason opener against New England.

PUP players Darren Sharper and Clint Ingram remain out.
