SEATTLE — The Saints will be without running back Pierre Thomas for the second playoff game in a row, a minor setback in a game in which the ground game might be key.

The good news, however, is that defensive back Keenan Lewis is active and will play a week after leaving the wild card game early with a head injury.

Additionally, defensive end Akiem Hicks will be active after being listed as questionable with an ankle injury that hampered his play in the Philadelphia game.

Thomas was listed as questionable with a chest injury suffered in the final regular season game against Tampa Bay. He practiced only Thursday this week.

New Orleans will focus its ground game on the backs of Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson, large parts in the Saints gaining 185 yards rushing against Philadelphia a week ago.

The Saints also named quarterback Ryan Griffin, defensive back Terrence Frederick, safety Jordan Pugh, linebacker Rufus Johnson, defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker and receiver Nick Toon as inactives.
