METAIRIE, La. – Saints receiver Lance Moore didn’t practice Monday, sitting out with a lingering groin issue.

Meanwhile, defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin (right knee) and defensive end Cameron Jordan (left knee) were not listed on the practice report, meaning they’re expected to play in Thursday’s season opener at Green Bay.

Additionally, backup quarterback Chase Daniel, who missed practices a week ago with an undisclosed injury, also wasn’t listed on the report.

Receive r Adrian Arrington missed with a right knee issue while kicker Garrett Hartley was out with a right hip. Defensive tackle Tom Johnson (left calf) was limited.

Moore originally injured his groin on Aug. 24 when the Saints were practicing in Oxnard, Calif. He didn’t play in the final two preseason games, but he did practice Sunday, a session Saints coach Sean Payton said went well for Moore.

“The thing about Lance is he’s an extremely intelligent player,” Payton said. “So the key is making sure he feels ready with the groin. Yesterday he got good work. We’ll just see where he’s at. We felt it was best to rest him.”
