The Saints are bringing back a familiar face on the defensive line, agreeing to terms with tackle Remi Ayodele.
The 6-foot-2, 312-pounder returns to New Orleans after spending one season in Minnesota, where he signed as a free agent following three years with the Saints.
Ayodele has 160 career tackles, including 133 with New Orleans from 2008-10. He has four career sacks, including 1½ last season.
He’s the second defensive tackle the Saints have found in free agency; Brodrick Bunkley signed with the Saints in March. New Orleans drafted defensive tackle Akiem Hicks in the third round of the NFL Draft.
