METAIRIE, La. ― Rookie cornerback Johnny Patrick injured his wrist late in practice Sunday, earning a spot on the injury report.

Additionally, linebacker Ramon Humber injured his quad during practice and didn’t finish.

Meanwhile, running back Chris Ivory (left foot, sports hernia), cornerback Tracy Porter (left knee) and defensive end Greg Romeus (right knee) all continue their time on the failed physical list.

Linebacker Ezra Butler (left hamstring), receivers Jarred Fayson (left ankle) and Adrian Arrington (ankle), cornerback  Fabian Washington (left hamstring), tackle Alex Barron (left knee), receiver Marques Colston (right knee) and defensive tackle Mitch King (heart) also didn’t practice.

As for King, Saints coach Sean Payton said the heart problem isn’t a career ender. King, he said, has a heart arrhythmia known as atrial fibrillation.

Payton said King will be OK.
