CHARLOTTE, N.C. – New Orleans Saints running backs Travaris Cadet and Chris Ivory are among the seven inactives for today’s game at the Carolina Panthers.

Defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker and offensive tackle Bryce Harris are the other two players who were named inactive on Sunday.

Cornerback Jabari Greer will see his first game action of the year, including preseason, after having sports hernia surgery the last week of July. Greer said earlier in the week that he was ready to come back this week regardless of depth at the position.

Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, meanwhile, will play in his first regular season game. The Saints’ third-round pick of April’s draft played well in preseason, but was inactive in the season opener against Washington.

Cornerback Johnny Patrick, receiver Devery Henderson and defensive end Turk McBride were named inactive on Friday.

For Carolina, quarterback Jimmy Clausen, safety D.J. Campbell, linebacker Kenny Onatolu, tackle Bruce Campbell, guard Mike Pollak, tight end Ben Hartsock and defensive tackle Frank Kearse are inactive.
