NEW ORLEANS -- The Saints have signed another of their 2014 draft picks. The club has signed linebacker Khairi Fortt, according to a statement from the team.
Fortt agreed to a four-year deal with the Saints, general manager Mickey Loomis announced. The terms of the deal were not included.
Fortt, 22, was selected in the fourth round of the NFL draft with the 126th pick overall.
The 6-foot-2, 240-pound inside linebacker played his final college season at the University of California at Berkeley after transferring from Penn State University in 2012 in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky scandal. In 2013, he was one of 12 national semifinalists for the 2013 Butkus Award.
