CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Defensive end Tom Johnson and running back Travaris Cadet are both inactive for the Saints in today’s key NFC South showdown at Carolina.

Both are healthy scratches and could be moves based on performance.

Left tackle Charles Brown, however, remains active and a possibility to play should Terron Armstead prove unable to rise to the situation. Armstead, a rookie third-round pick, hasn’t played an offense snap all season.

Meanwhile, specialist Eric Frampton, signed this week when the team released Chris Carr, is active after practicing only two days this past week.

Tight end Josh Hill (hamstring), linebacker Keyunta Dawson (calf) and safety Rafael Bush (ankle) all are out with injuries. Receiver Nick Toon and quarterback Ryan Griffin are the other inactives.

For Carolina, receivers Tavarres King and Marvin McNutt, cornerbacker Josh Norman, running back Jonathan Stewart, linebacker Dan Connor, tackle Travis Bond and defensive end Wes Horton are inactive.
