NEW ORLEANS — The Saints offered a restricted free-agent tender to linebacker Jonathan Casillas, a league source said Saturday.

The moves gives the team the right to match any offer he might get through free agency and right of first refusal.

The tender, at a $1.26 million level according to ESPN.com, is the lowest level.

The Saints haven’t offered tenders to their other two restricted free agents – quarterback Chase Daniel or linebacker Ramon Humber – but those moves could come soon with free agency beginning Tuesday.
