The Saints will not get back their second round pick in April’s NFL draft, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said during an online Reddit Q&A session with fans Monday.

The pick, part of the penalties the Saints incurred for the bounty program the league said it ran, was thought to be in position to be returned. However, Goodell said the franchise won’t have any chance of it returning.

It’s the first time Goodell has spoken about the pick and given an idea on if the Saints would get it back.

New Orleans was docked second-round picks in 2012 and this year along with being fined $500,000.
