NEW ORLEANS - Saints running back Mark Ingram could miss six weeks after having knee surgery.
ESPN reporter Adam Schefter tweeted, "Hits keep coming: Saints RB Mark Ingram underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Thursday that is expected to sideline him six weeks."
Ingram's 2011 season was cut short due to a toe injury.
According to the ESPN report, Ingram is expected to miss minicamp, but be ready to practice by the time training camp opens.
