METAIRIE, La. —  Running back Pierre Thomas and outside linebacker Junior Galette both would be deemed questionable if this were a game week after sitting out both practice sessions Thursday, coach Sean Payton said.

Payton wouldn’t give specifics on either of their injuries, saying only, “We’ll see where they’re at.”

Besides those two, linebacker Jonathan Vilma, offensive guard Andrew Tiller, center Eric Olsen, defensive end Tom Johnson (hip), linebacker Ray Shipman (hamstring), outside linebacker Martez Wilson (left elbow) and defensive back A.J. Davis all sat out the afternoon session.

Tiller likely won’t play, Payton said, but Olsen has a chance with a foot issue.

Meanwhile, quarterback Seneca Wallace went through practice but likely won’t get any snaps after pulling his groin in the first week of camp.

“Probably going to rest Seneca, him coming off his muscle pull, make sure he’s back 100 percent,” Payton said.
