BATON ROUGE, La. --  Outspoken and sometimes controversial radio personality Bobby Hebert was booted from the LSU press box Saturday night for excessive cheering, according to Yahoo! Sports.

According to Yahoo!'s Pat Forde, Hebert was repeatedly warned of his cheering before LSU's associate athletic director told him he had to leave the press box. He was escorted out by a police officer.

Hebert, whose eccentric ways were the subject of a lengthy story in this weeks' New York Times, also received some noteriety last year after the LSU-Alabama BCS Championship game when he, as the father of a player on LSU's team, asked the first question at the post-game press conference with head coach Les Miles and pushed the coach hard on why he didn't yank starting quarterback Jordan Jefferson.
