BATON ROUGE, La -- The Tigers have been ranked number 1 on the USA Today/ ESPN Coaches' Top 25 poll.  Alabama is placed at number 2, inversely of how they finished last year.

There are five SEC teams in the top 10, giving the league a good chance to extend its streak of six consecutive national championships.
