LSU’s baseball team moved up a spot in the Baseball America Top 25, moving up to No. 3 after winning 3 of 4 games this past week.
The Tigers moved up to No. 4 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.
With two more Southeastern Conference series left this season, the Tigers (38-11) have edged their way into the top 3 after falling as low as No. 15 midway through the season. But series wins over then-No. 3 Arkansas and then-No.1 Florida in back-to-back weekends jump-started their late-season rise.
LSU is the highest-ranked SEC team, ahead of No. 4 South Carolina, No. 6 Florida and No. 7 Kentucky. The SEC also has Arkansas (No. 20) and Mississippi State (No. 25) ranked in the Baseball America poll.
