BATON ROUGE, La. — Sophomore pitcher Cody Glenn has been reinstated to LSU’s active roster after not being a part of the team’s NCAA regional roster this past weekend.
LSU coach Paul Mainieri said Glenn will be eligible to play in the Tigers’ Super Regional this weekend against Oklahoma.
“He delivered a sincere apology to his teammates and they voted unanimously to have him back with us,” Mainieri said. “We’ll move forward with Cody as a part of our team and turn out attention toward Oklahoma.”
This past Thursday, in announcing the team’s roster for the regional, LSU said only that Glenn violated team rules.
Still, LSU went 3-0 in the regional, moving into the round of 16 Super Regional, which it’ll host.
Glenn pitched in 14 games this season, going 7-2 with a 2.41 ERA.
