BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU is ranked No. 4 in the 2013 Collegiate Baseball preseason poll.

According to the university, the preseason ranking is the highest for LSU since 2010.  That year the Tigers began the season at No. 2.

LSU is coming off an SEC championship and were the No. 7 national seed for the NCAA Tournament, before falling to Stony Brook in the Baton Rouge Super Regional.

The Tigers are one of five SEC the preseason Top 10 -- No. 1 Arkansas, No. 3 Vanderbilt, No. 7 South Carolina and No. 8 Kentucky.
