You can go ahead and mark Nov. 9, 2013 as must-see TV if you’re a fan LSU or Alabama.
That’s when the two annual top 10 Southeastern Conference teams will meet in Tuscaloosa, Ala., the league announced Thursday when it released schedules for each school in the SEC.
LSU opens its conference schedule at home on Nov. 21 against Auburn, three weeks after opening its season in Arlington, Texas against TCU in the Aug. 31 Cowboys Classic.
The Tigers will travel the following two weeks after the Auburn game, first heading to Georgia (Sept. 28) followed by a game at Mississippi State on Oct. 5.
A week after that, the Tigers host Florida on Oct. 12 before another two-game road swing with dates at Ole Miss (Oct. 19) and Alabama (Nov. 9). In a bit of a scheduling quirk, the Tigers will have an open date before and after the Alabama game.
Following the open date after the Alabama game, LSU closes its regular season schedule with back-to-back home games against Texas A&M (Nov. 23) and Arkansas (Nov. 30).
In addition to the SEC games and the season-opener against TCU, LSU will host UAB on Sept. 7, Kent State on Sept. 14 and Furman on Oct. 26.
