BATON ROUGE, La. - The suddenly resurgent Florida Gators will host third-ranked LSU in a nationally-televised game from Gainesville on Oct. 6, it was announced by the network and the SEC Monday.
The Gators are ranked 11th in the latest AP poll and have won road games in conference at Texas A&M and Tennessee.
LSU, which narrowly defeated Auburn this weekend, will host Towson this weekend and enter the contest 5-0.
