JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- Jacksonville State quarterback Ryan Perrilloux, who began his career at LSU, is getting a tryout with the Minnesota Vikings.
The Birmingham News reports that Perrilloux will get the tryout next weekend at the Vikings' three-day rookie camp.
The JSU website says Perrilloux signed with the club. The News says he was not among the 10 players the Vikings listed as undrafted free agents who agreed to terms Saturday.
Perrilloux, who starred at JSU after leaving LSU, told the newspaper he has always dreamed of playing in the pros and is excited by the opportunity.
