ULL needs to beat Mississippi State twice to advance to the NCAA Super Regionals. The first game begins tonight at 8:05 p.m. We'll have live scoring updates below.

- Mississippi State manages a hit and a run, but it's not enough to send ULL packing. The two teams will face off again Monday to decide who heads to the Super Regionals.

- ULL fails to score despite two walks in the inning.

- Mississippi State plates two runs on two hits.

- ULL pads its lead to 14-3 with three hits in the bottom of the sixth.

- Mississippi State has a lead-off walk, but three straight outs sends them to the bottom of the sixth with the same 13-3 score.

- ULL plates one runner on two hits, giving them a 13-3 lead.

- Five hits in the third inning allows Mississippi State to tie up the game at 3-3.

- Jackson State unable to take advantage of a two-out double by Stephen Curtis after pop fly ends inning..

- ULL's Jace Conrad knocks a grand slam to give the Cajuns a 5-1 lead. It's Conrad's third grand slam of the year. Blake Trahan then scores after Tyler Girouard reaches on an error, making it 6-1.

- Jackson State's Gary Thomas scores on an error after leading off the inning with a double.

Top of 1st

- With one out and the bases loaded, ULL's Caleb Adams hits into a sac fly, giving ULL the first run of the game. Chase Compton pops up to end the inning.
