LSU fell in both major baseball polls after dropping its final two games of the week to Appalachian State by a combined 12-1 score.

The Tigers dropped farthest in the Baseball America poll, falling to No. 14. Still, LSU (5-2) is the only team in the top 15 with two losses.

In Collegiate Baseball, LSU fell only four spots to No. 13.

The Southeastern Conference has six teams in both polls.

Tulane, meanwhile, isn’t ranked despite its 7-1 start, the latest three wins coming in a weekend sweep of Indiana.

The week gets much tougher for the Green Wave, however, with Southeastern Louisiana and Alabama both visiting Turchin Stadium.
