The Giants besides a win in Dallas have been stuffing their face with cupcakes like Tampa, KC, Oakland, and Washington. Meanwhile our hometown heroes haven't faced a big time quarterback yet. ?

This game is huge because the?winner gets a leg up on home field advantage. ? Will the?Saints be able to force Eli Manning to make the classic Eli throw? What is?the classic 'Eli' throw? It's when he drops back to pass, gets pressured, and throws up a horribly ill advised throw. ? The results aren't always bad,?David Tyree caught a miracle pass off his helmet and the Giants won a Super Bowl. He also looked horrendous against the?Eagles in the playoffs last year. ? I know?Eli is good I just can't decide if he's elite. Maybe the Giants are loaded and he's an?above average QB on a really good team? ? I change my mind every time I see him. I say he's just an above average guy on a really good team who played unbelievable for for four?weeks in the playoffs in 2007.

Last week: 3-2 Season: 13-12 ? New Orleans (-3) vs. New York Giants: ? As for this game, Dallas ran for 250 yards against the Giants. Yeah?it was?Week 2 which is like?five years ago but I think the?Saints move the ball. ? I think the Saints defense gets after Manning and forces him into bad throws. ? Isn't it time Drew Brees reminds everyone just how awesome he is. The Saints first loss is Miami next week. The party rolls on for another week. ?Saints 31-24 ?Houston (+5.5) at Cincinnati: I picked the Bengals as a playoff team but this has classic letdown game. By the way who calls goal line plays for the Texans? Carl Smith? ?Texans 21-17 ?Chicago (+3) at Atlanta: I haven't decided if either of these teams are really good. Both stink on defense especially if they fall behind. I hate picking the Bears in a close game because Lovie Smith manages late game situations as well as an armless man trying to juggle. ?Bears 23-21 ? ?Oakland (+14) vs. Philadelphia: Bad ideas; Swimming with Sharks, doing your age in shots on your birthday, and picking the Raiders in an actual NFL game. ? I just?did it. Why??I heard?Al Davis?is still alive.? ?Raider 17-14 ? ?Baltimore (+3) at Minnesota: Two things will derail the Viking; Brad Childress and Brett Favre. This week they work in tandem. Favre throws a pick and Childress screws up the clock or something else dumb. ? ?Ravens 24-14 ? Ralph Malbrough is a Saints fan living in Houston and can be reached at ?or on facebook.
