NEW ORLEANS – Brother Martin stunned St. Aug 62-58 Friday night, making a trip to the State Championship tournament and denying the Purple Knights their first trip to that tournament since 2004.
The game was played in front of an overflow crowd at Brother Martin.
St. Aug had defeated the Crusaders in their previous meetings this season.
