DESTREHAN, La. -- A fifth Destrehan High School football coach has been charged in connection with hacking into a website to gain information about South Lafourche High School football team's game plan, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office.

Assistant Destrehan coach Lance Ledet, 40, of Madisonville, was the sixth person charged, said the sheriff's office, joining four other coaches Wayne Sentilles, of Montz, Daniel Laquet, of Luling, Greg Boyne, of Hahnville, and Ryan Fournier, of Larose. Fournier's girlfriend, Emily Guidry, was also charged.

The sheriff's office said each admitted to accessing a website to get the South Lafourche game plan ahead of a game with Destrehan.  Destrehan won the game 49-24

All six were charged with offenses against intellectual property, said the sheriff's office.

"Detectives say Fournier and Guidry admitted to obtaining the login credentials to access South Lafourche's football account on the hudl.com website in order to access video of the team's football practices," said a statement from the sheriff's office.

"Detectives say Fournier then shared those credentials with the four other Destrehan assistant coaches who also accessed the information and, through their own admission, used the information during last week's game against South Lafourche."

Authorities said they have no evidence any other members of the coaching staff accessed the hudl.com account.

Penalties for the first offense of the crime include a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
