NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) — Ron Rushing, the head football at Cathedral High School in Natchez the past two seasons, will take over as offensive coordinator at Brookhaven High School.
The Natchez Democrat reports (http://bit.ly/HTv2ka) that Rushing informed his players Monday.
Rushing will joining new head coach Tommy Clopton's staff at Brookhaven. Clopton previously coached at Wesson High School.
In two seasons at Cathedral, Rushing had a 22-5 record, making the playoffs both years. In 2010, he made it to the second round of the postseason, and the Green Wave got to the South State title game in 2011.
