BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU's Jeremy Hill had a two-touchdown performance highlighted by a 50-yard scoring run as the ninth-ranked Tigers beat No. 3 South Carolina 23-21 on Saturday night. LSU outgained South Carolina 406 yards to 211 in handing the Gamecocks their first loss of the season.

SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Johnny Manziel accounted for six touchdowns as No. 22 Texas A&M held on for a 59-57 win over 23rd-ranked Louisiana Tech to hand the Bulldogs their first loss Saturday night. Texas A&M won its fifth straight game and improved to 11-0 all-time against Louisiana Tech, now 5-1.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Ryan Griffin returned from a shoulder injury to throw for 302 yards and three touchdowns to beat Southern Methodist 27-26 Saturday. Griffin completed 17 of 32 passes and threw touchdown passes of 31, 79 and 16 yards.

ITTA BENA, Miss. (AP) — Garrick Jones ran for first-half touchdowns of 70 and 43 yards, and Marcus Randle threw three second-half touchdown passes to lead Mississippi Valley State to a 45-21 victory Saturday over Grambling State. The Delta Devils are now 5-48-2 against the Tigers.
