BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Andre Stringer of LSU and back-to-back 20-plus performances by Whitney Bibbins of Tulane earned the pair Louisiana Sports Writers Association Player of the Week honors.
Stringer had 19 points in a road win at UC Irvine and then had 20 points with six treys in the Tigers game at Marquette.
Bibbins had a career-high 25 points against Louisiana-Lafayette and 23 points in a win over North Texas.
