BOSTON (AP) — The Houston Rockets went on 12-0 run in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't quite enough to stop the streaking Boston Celtics. The Celtics pulled out a 103-91 victory despite blowing a big lead. The Rockets had pulled to within two. Paul Pierce had 23 points for Boston. James Harden led Houston with 24.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies have beaten their Southwest Division rival the San Antonio Spurs for the first time since the 2011 playoffs. It took a pullup jumper from Rudy Gay with 28 seconds left in overtime for the Grizzlies to win their fourth straight game. Tony Parker beat the buzzer with a 27-foot shot that tied it at 95, forcing overtime.

IRVING, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys have hired a 72-year-old defensive guru as the replacement for Bob Ryan. Former Tampa Bay coordinator Monte Kiffin was hired for the same role with the Cowboys. The move means the Cowboys will switch back to the 4-3 defense after moving to the 3-4 under Bill Parcells in 2005.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas defensive tackle Brandon Moore says he's ready to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL. He's skipping his senior year to enter the draft. Moore played in 12 games for the Longhorns, starting five of them. He ranked fifth of the team with eight tackles for loss.
