COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Sergei Bobrovsky made 24 saves last night to lead the Columbus Blue Jackets past the Dallas Stars 2-1, snapping a four-game losing streak. Vinny Prospal and Derek Dorsett both scored for the Blue Jackets. Philip Larsen netted the Stars' lone goal while Kari Lehtonen stopped 25 shots.
Baylor remains No. 1 in the latest Associated Press women's college basketball poll for a fourth straight week. The Lady Bears cruised to victories over Iowa State and Oklahoma last week and have won 30 straight Big 12 regular-season games. Notre Dame and UConn stayed second and third in the poll.
IRVING, Texas (AP) — A Dallas Cowboys officials say the team is looking to improve how it deals with drunken driving in the wake of two player arrests. Player development consultant Calvin Hill says the team understands the dangers of drunken driving. Defensive lineman Jay Ratliff was arrested last week in Grapevine after sideswiping a semitrailer truck.
