NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Gregg Williams thanked NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for reinstating him back to the league, and he also is apologizing while taking "full responsibility" for his role in the New Orleans' bounty scandal. The NFL reinstated Williams on Thursday morning, and the Tennessee Titans hired him as a senior defensive assistant.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has notified the school that he's interviewing with the New Orleans Saints. Athletic director Greg McGarity made the announcement Thursday. As part of his contract, Grantham must let Georgia know when he plans to interview for an NFL job.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi forward Demarco Cox will miss the remainder of the season because of a stress fracture in his left foot. The 6-foot-8, 272-pound junior has already missed extended time because of the injury. He's played in just seven games, averaging 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds.

MONROE, La. (AP) — Josh Hagins scored 14 points and Arkansas-Little Rock used a 9-0 run in the second half to put away Louisiana-Monroe 70-60 in a Sun Belt Conference game Thursday night. Gus Leeper had 12 points and Will Neighbour 11 for the Trojans, who have won four of their past five and three in a row on the road.
