UNDATED (AP) — The NBA playoffs begin today with four games. In the opening contest the Knicks are hosting the Celtics this afternoon. Later in the day, Denver is home to Golden State. This evening's two games feature the Bulls at Brooklyn and Memphis in L.A. to face the Clippers.

UNDATED (AP) — The Boston Red Sox's series against visiting Kansas City will begin today after last night's game was postponed because of the search for a second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. The Red Sox haven't played at home since completing a 3-2 win over Tampa Bay at Fenway Park, less than an hour before the bombings near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The Bosox haven't announced a makeup date for last night's game.

UNDATED (AP) — The Pittsburgh at Boston NHL game was postponed last night and rescheduled for this afternoon because of the search for a second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. The other NHL day games have Florida at New Jersey and Winnipeg at home to the Islanders.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) — There's a three-way tie for the lead heading into the third round of the PGA's RBC Heritage at Hilton Head. Kevin Streelman, Charley Hoffman and Steve LeBrun are all starting play today at 6-under-par. They top Luke Donald and Bill Haas by one shot with six other players two-back at minus-4.

KAPOLEI, Hawaii (AP) — Suzanne Pettersen starts the day with a one shot lead after three rounds of the LPGAs Lotte (LOH-tay) Championship in Hawaii. She stands 14-under-par, one shot in front of Hee Kyung Seo and three in front of Ai Miyazato (EYE mee-yah-ZAH'-toh).
